DISCUS is a set of interactive spreadsheets, written in Microsoft Excel, which are designed for teaching statistics at sixth form and first year undergraduate level.

The materials are designed to be used off the shelf by students working on their own, and little preparation by teaching staff is required.

It consists of a set of eight Microsoft Excel workbooks, each on a particular topic, and a set of associated photo-copyable workcards which provide a series of thought provoking challenges to help students gain insight and understanding.

You need Microsoft Excel 5 or Office 97 to run them, although no prior knowledge of Excel is necessary.
