Profile

Hong Guo is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Mathematical and Information Sciences, Coventry University, UK. Her current research interests relate to the software process oriented quality management and improvement, software quality assurance, application of software process improvement modules in medical applications, global software development environments and objected oriented software construction. Previous research work resulted in the award of a PhD, carried out at Southampton Institute in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, which investigated the process management and potential of applying Software Process Improvement (SPI) modules in Teleworking and distributed software environments.

Before joining Coventry University in June 2002, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing, Information Systems & Mathematics, South Bank University, UK. In 2001, she received a PhD in Software Engineering from Nottingham Trent University. She holds a BEng degree from LuoYang Institute of Technology and MEng degree from Tsing-Hua University, both in Solid Mechanics and Mathematics, P.R.China. A number of research papers have been published in journals and conference proceedings.
